Quite the transformation has taken place within me in the last two or more years.
Have I got vainer?
I can’t think how to answer that question.
But to be clear, Old Amber would never have dangled so much after the sparkly, the spangly, the sequinned, glittery, or twinkling even half as much as I do now.
I bought this flapper-esque short-sleeved thing about a month ago. I’ve hung it at the foot of my bed to cheer me up today. I don’t know what one wears it with, but it’s certainly pretty in the late afternoon sun, no?

It looks quite short… or is that just the pic? I’d layer it over a slim fit stretchy singlet (CR does good ones) and wear it with a light wash pair of jeans.
(Describing fashion leaves me with great uncertainty about what to hyphenate!)

It IS quite short. It only reaches to a point above my hips, where most jeans’ waistbands sit.
In a fit of “cleaning”, I discarded my light-wash jeans. I must invest in a better, more well-fitted pair.

I often go through phases where I think, “light wash, so uncool”. That said, they go with stuff the darker ones don’t. And… Don’t you always find that your dark ones wash out after about 2 months? You’ve spent squllions on new jeans (not to mention a whole day traumatising your thighs to find a pair that fits) and now they’re a funky washed out half-half shade anyway. Pff. Just unfair!
I really HATE buying jeans, on account of my most peculiar body shape.
